I specialize in making custom quilts. I also lecture about quilting and teach people to sew and quilt.
Most quilts I make are “memory” quilts; they are made from clothing, photos, or other personal momentos. Or, they are made to celebrate a special event.
Would you like a quilt that wedding guests sign for a lasting keepsake of your special day? Do you have a drawer full of t-shirts that no longer fit or are worn out but that you can’t bear to part with because of their sentimental value? What about all those cute baby clothes you kept? Or, your collection of your Dad’s ties. What about that lifetime collection of patches?
I have made quilts from all these items. Each memory quilt is unique — just like the client it’s made for.
I also make bags. Imagine giving a custom diaper bag as a gift. Would you like a purse made with specialized pockets for your unique needs? Imagine carrying a custom bag to work each day, with pockets just for your laptop or tablet computer.

Do you love to piece but hate to quilt? I can quilt for you. I will work with you to determine the best quilting pattern for your special quilt. Note that I do not hand quilt. Visit my Longarm Quilting page for longarm quilting information and pricing.
Lectures and Workshops
I love to visit guilds and share my enthusiasm for making memory quilts and designing my own patterns. Visit my Workshops and Lectures page to learn about bringing me to visit your guild.
I love to teach people to sew and quilt. I offer both private sewing and quilting lessons and teach at some local quilt shops. Contact me to talk about how you can learn to sew or quilt.
